These are all screenshots of my coding for the micro bit.

Using Micro bits, I created a dog walking across the screen because I saw a dinosaur looking shape so I turned it into a dog and I was thinking that it would look cool if I made the dog walk across the screen little by little at a time. Another reason I made the dog walk across the screen is because I needed to do something simple enough to finish within a week but not too hard that it will take more than a week.

During this process, I learned how to code a micro bit and make it show something. I learned how to make the download of my creation go to the micro bit itself. I also learned how to use microbit.org to create my project. I learned how to make the details appear on the micro bits screen and disappear when I need it too.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer, because I had to use the different things and different websites to figure out what I was gonna do for my project. I also had to use the micro bit website to even create and make images on my micro bit.

A challenge I overcame on this project was being able to download the image that I wanted to appear on my micro bit to send to my micro bit. I was able to do it by looking things up to help me figure it out and trying different websites to be able to download it and send it to my micro bit and try different things by myself to help me figure it out. Sometimes I asked someone to help me if I couldn't figure it out or find it on the internet.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the dog moved across the screen. The reason why I would change it is because it could make it show the dog running out of the screen with more movement so it would look more realistic and then it would have more details and maybe I could add a sound too it so it would make a barking noise as it went across the screen. I would add the sound because it would make it more interesting to watch for sure.
