Using Tinker CAD, I created A Charizard from someone's 3d print but i changed a few things of their print since they didn't do it as well as they could. since I think it would look cool and it seemed like fun
During this process, I learned how to change the size of a grouped up print and make sure it looked better. How to make it to scale so it can fit onto the space that we have for it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used the Knowledge of how the character was built and making it more proportional than the previous print.
A challenge I overcame on this project was accidentally deleting half of the 3D model but making it better. I was able to do it by deleting the other half and taking another copy of the design and kept working on it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change who made the 3D model. The reason why I would change it is because I "copied" someone else but gave them credit but i honestly wanted to make one myself .So its more challenging to make than copying someone else .
