Sentence Starters

• Using spheros, Cardboard ,hot glue, and our heads we created a racetrack since we saw other people doing other things like tag, and making the sphero say ow when it bumped into an object,. So we chose something simple like the racetrack we built.

• During this process, we learned that it is pretty simple to program a sphero, and using glue and cardboard we made a stable race track that can handle the sphero ramming into the sides of it.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. Our project ties to Innovative Designer because we had to design a track for the robots to go around and program the robot to move around it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was arguing with my partner since we disagreed with some stuff and they weren't doing as much as the rest of us. I was able to do it by talking and making compromises to get work done.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way that the track is. The reason why I would change it is because it is just a oval shape and I want it to be a little bit more complicated like ramps obstacles and a larger track.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to Programing robots to do simple tasks like move .
