7P4 Augmented Reality

Using my computer and the Delightex Edu app, I created an augmented reality of a dragon attacking people because I thought it would be interesting. I 

During this process, I learned how to make an interesting augmented reality using my computer. I think mine turned out pretty cool overall. I do think it could have been better. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer, because I really struggled to make it but I found ways to fix or work around my problems. Like when I couldn't find the right things so it I had to improvise with other things and it took a little while to find out ways to make it work. I really had to get creative to fix some of my problems. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was that pieces ended up randomly in places I didn't want them. I was able to do it by trying to figure out where it had been or where I wanted it and placing it there. It was still a little difficult but I managed. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I made things. The reason why I would change it is because when I was making the mountains and main buildings I got a little worried about how far behind I felt so I rushed to finish it and it made it harder when I tried to put people and other things in. So if given the chance I would definitely try to calm down and finish so I could just copy it all and change some things as the story progressed. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digtial multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this because it uses multiple forms of media.

My project connects to careers in software development because I designed my idea. Then I built it using the library in the app. Then finally I tested it once I was done.
