7P3

7P3 video: 

Using an iPad, a Microbit, and a computer, I created a bunch of different codes because that's what the microbits are for. I created games and other things with the microbit.  I used the computer and iPad to fill out my daily log. 

During this process, I learned how to make a math game. I also made a flappy bird game and a few other games. While I mostly made games I made other things like my name badge and my trident thingy. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because we followed instructions, and some videos. This proves that it connects to Knowledge Constructor because we built up our knowledge.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make flappy bird work. I was able to do it by looking at the instructions more closely to see what I did wrong. Once I found what I did wrong I went through and fixed it. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I didn't use any speakers or anything. The reason why I would change it is because I think it could've made it more interesting. The reason I didn't use speakers is because I was kind of scared of doing something wrong which is a really bad excuse.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this because we made code.

My project connects to careers in video game development because I made games with the microbit like the flappy bird. It also connects to this because it we made code that it followed. Lastly, it connects because it is basically a mini computer.
