• Using Minecraft Education created an obstacle course because it was easy. I also can't make my agent build. Making my agent build was too hard, so I built a 3 stage obstacle course. The 3 stages barbed wire to go under, a staircase, and a long run to the finish.

• During this process, I learned how to move my agent more efficiently. One way I made my agent move more efficiently (not using a whole lot of blocks) is by experimenting. Another way is by using coding knowledge from things like Hour of Code, previous Minecraft coding, etc.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I could choose what to do. It also connects to creative communicator because I am creatively expressing myself.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding out what to do. I was able to do it by experimenting with different stages of the course. I also did it by experimenting with different code blocks. It took me a while but i eventually got the right block but I did it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big the course was. The reason why I would change it is because I want to make it more challenging.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer science.
