My Movie.movUsing laser cutter, I created a person playing baseball because my dad used to play baseball and I wanted to make something for him.
During this process, I learned how to laser cut.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational Thinker because I went on google and found a picture and I went on a website called Adobe capture and I made it a svg.
A challenge I overcame on this project was me missing one day and trying to get more time. I was able to do it by useing my 8p3 time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the svg color thing I would make it brighter and probably get rid of the back ground. The reason why I would change it is because you could see only a little bit of the baseball player and it was hard to find out what it was.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in laser operater because it is maily laser cutting things.
