7P3 Micro:Bit

Using the Micro Bit, computer, iPad, I created passing notes with my friend on the micro bit and I also made a love meter because I wanted to figure out how to do notes and also I wanted to see how the love meter.

During this process, I learned that you can do a bunch of games. also you can and notes and make love meters and all different kinds of things.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because when I need help to figure out a code I would look up on the internet on how to do the code.

A challenge I overcame on this project was my love meter didn't work at first but then I kept trying to get it to work. I was able to do it by trying again and not giving up, also if I need to do the code again I would look it up and learn how to do it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change making it better and making it work first try. The reason why I would change it is because it would not work the first time and then i would have to make it over and over again until it worked.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the computer program CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in software engineering because I had to make different codes for the micro: bit which is a lot like software engineering. And just regular coding in general.
