Using Cardboard, glue, spray paint, pop circle sticks, tape, sponges, string, markers I created Computer/PC because we though about it when we used it and wanted to see how we would do. Also we wanted to see how it would go and see how we would do all together. We also put all of our ideas together and did a computer but we did it because we already knew what we were going to do and what to use for it.
During this process, I learned when you work together work goes by faster and also we know that our project would not be as we wanted. I also learned that when you stay on track and keep working and don't get side tracked you will be done faster and it will turn out nicer.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I didn't go online and copy other peoples project and make the same thing as them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not being distracted easy and to work harder and to be more helpful at times. I was able to do it by not going around and talking to people and not getting distracted by people and kept on working on my project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change making it a little more sturdy and putting more design on it and making it more realistic. The reason why I would change it is because it wasn't as sturdy as we wanted it to be and it wasn't that realistic but some what close.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in architect because they make a plan and build it, just like we did.
