Planning questions:

Im working by myself

I will need a micro bit, usb cord, computer, and coding website.

My plan is to get done as many projects as I can in this amout of time.

My projects will be unique because im going to change up the tutorials a bit to make my projects unique.

Daily log:

Day 1: I looked on other peoples websits for ideas and finished my list of ten good ideas, after that I answered the planning questions.

Day 2: I added the code for my name.

Day 3: I figured out how to get my name on the micro:bit and once I figured that out I made a frowny face that frowns when you push B, then it goes newtrol if you push A and B and smiles if you push A.

Day 4: I made Bob the Dancing Duck. It was quite simple I just put two leds of a duck going up and down forever and then I named him Bob. I made a snake that chases his tail forever all I had to do was put in every pixel to make him go in a circle.

Day 5: I made a heart that fills up on a loop. To do this I simply made a empty heart design and then slowley filled in the pixels. I also started experemnting with python which is codes but with words and stuff.

Day 6: I made hot potato with python script, it wasn't as difficult as I thought!

Day 7: I filled out the reflection.

Reflection:

Using a micro bit, I created a face, Bob the Dancing Duck, a snake, a heart, and hot potato because I feel that these projects best express me and it makes me a better leaner and coder.

During this process, I learned that with this project you have to be creative but still follow the rules, I know this because when I was experimenting with python I tried just typing out the code and adding my own little things but the code ended up not working and I had to start from scratch.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered Learner because I worked hard to accompish my goals and I also learned on the way like when I tried using python .

A challenge I overcame on this project was in the begining when I was figuring out how the micro bit works I couldn't get the micro bit to connect. I was able to overcome this by clicking the instructions and connecting the micro bit to my computer.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change by doing something a little more challanging or making more projects. The reason why I would change it is because I felt like I was doing things the easy way, which made me feel no sence of accomplishment. I also felt like I was laking something and that I didn't make enough projects.
