7P3 Micro bit

day 1: I coded my first name.

day 5:  we had a assembly so I didn't make anything on my micro bit.

• Using a Micro Bit, computer, and an iPad, I created multiple different codes. I used block coding to code my sign. I used https://makecode.microbit.org/ to  make my code on.

• During this process, I learned how to use block codes. By watching tutorials on YouTube and the Micro Bit I now understand the basics of using bock coding. I am still looking into JavaScript .

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project also connects to creative communicator because I expressed a message through a unique platform. Micro Bit is a platform I started out not familiar with and ended the project with more strategies and techniques.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was being able to code . I was able to do it by watching tutorials. I also asked others for help when I couldn't understand something

• Given a chance to do this again, I would do harder codes. The reason why I would change it is because the project seemed not as challenging as I would like. I would watch different tutorials and ask others for advice.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Software application developer, Web developer, Computer systems engineer, Database administrator, Computer systems analyst, Software quality assurance (QA) engineer, Business intelligence analyst, Computer programmer.
