Using CoSpaces, I created a class where you have animals as classmates because I thought it would be a good idea. Another reason I did this is that I thought a scenario like that would be entertaining.
During this process, I learned that some items don't fit with a scene. I also learned that some animals have some really interesting animations, whereas others only have things like "Run, Eat, Neutral". Overall I think the most important thing I learned was to just have fun.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I had to use my experience with VR and my knowledge on it to figure out how to use CoSpaces. I also had to use my prior knowledge to make sure the VR world would work.
A challenge I overcame on this project was some of the animals I wanted to be in the class wouldn't fit at a desk. I was able to do it by switching out the animals. Another way I handled the issue was by altering the size of the animal.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of time I spent on the world that I didn't end up using. The reason why I would change it is because I could have spent that time on the class.
