Planning Questions:
I am working by myself
For this project I will need the bloxels, an iPad, and the computer
My plan is to make a mario related level with a boss, and use planning to create this
One major unique quality mine will have is a speed run/parkour with a hard boss at the end
Using Bloxels , I tried to create a cool mario level thing but I couldn't because I had gotten quarantined.
During this process, I learned that bloxels was like a physical tool you could use. It also could be scanned and show up on your computer.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I was gonna have to figure out a way to make a unique level and learn how to build it myself.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I passed a level on the bloxels game when I was dinking around with it. I was able to do it by playing the game I guess.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the day I got quarantined so I could actually finish this project. The reason why I would change it is because I never got to even make my level.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in someone that makes actual video game levels.
I wasn't able to get half this project done because I was quarantined.
