Planning Questions:

• I'm working with my partner Lucas

• We will need one of our voices, the iPad, and iMovie

• Our plan is to first make our script and then transfer it into iMovie

• This project will be different because it will have my voice in it

Reflection:

• Using our ideas and combining them together in iMovie, I created a legit commercial for our cardboard design challenge. While making this we had to find a way to make it eye-catching or in any way it would make you want to learn more. Also, I had to try and sell it too. Then thought if we could add more "Fizaz" to it. So it would probably be more entertaining but sadly we couldn't do it due to covid.

• During this process, I learned how to add audio into the iMovie app. I also found out that you can cut parts of the videos out, so that was very useful. For this project I had some prior knowledge about videos I made in the past. YouTube was helpful when I was struggling on a part when I was trying to use iMovie. Using the things I learned I was able to make a professional commercial for this project.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used my prior knowledge and videos, then added that knowledge to form a commercial.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was when we were filming our audio it wasn't working. So during this we had to cut out part of our old audio and make a new one so it was more fluent and working. When we were doing this it was kind of tricky at first but then we got the hang of it. Mow I have knowledge to use about iMovie. So maybe in the future I can make videos off of iMovie.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of the video because I felt like it was to short and didn't have enough information and it wasn't very entertaining for customers.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in something like a youtuber or relating to acting.
