7p7-Circuit Playground Express

Using Adafruit Circuit Playground, my PC, and an iPad, I created clap lights because clap lights are really cool. I made them pink when you clap. I also have to shake it in order to reset.

During this process, I learned how to make clap lights on Adafruit Circuit Playground. I also learned how to download it to my pc. I think the clap lights are really cool.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I shared with the world my project. I put it on my website so my family, friends, etc. can see.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to make the clap lights work properly. I was able to do it by asking my friend to help me understand. I now know how to download the clap lights to my pc.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change making my clap lights a little more original. The reason why I would change it is because I feel its basic. I think I could've added more originality to it.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in LED display using raspberry pi4 and adafruit.
