My Movie 2.movUsing iMovie, an iPad, a micro bit, and Code it, I created a Magic 8 Ball because I thought that creating a magic 8 ball on a micro bit was a cool idea. The magic 8 ball is fun to play with. Also I made a Juke box.
During this process, I learned how to code. It was easier than I thought it was going to be. Its a fun activity to learn how to do.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I shared with the world my micro bit. I put it on my website for everyone to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code. I was able to do it by taking it step by step and trying new things. Also starting off slow and then doing more harder coding programming.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change trying to make my own design. The reason why I would change it is because I only did the projects that are already on the coding website. I think I could've also made other things by myself.

My project connects to the computer programmer. CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer programmer.
