7P3-Micro:Bit 

• Using a Micro:Bit, a computer, iPad, USB cord, batteries, and this website https://microbit.org/. With these items I created Micro:Bit codes and "games".  I made this so I could learn how to code better. 

During this process, I learned a new type of coding. I also learned how to use a Micro:Bit. Another thing I learned is you have to be very patient while coding the projects, because if your not it can be  very hard to get the codes done. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer. This is because I created it by myself using tutorials on how to make and set up the codes.

A challenge I overcame on this project was relearning how to code. This was a challenge I over came because I have not coded in a long time. I was able to do it by reading through tutorials and watching tutorials.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change which codes I do. The reason why I would change it is because I want to try to do something harder. Another reason is I think it would be cool to make a game instead of all the little codes. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Pogramming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in coding and programing.
