• Using makey makey.com and playdoh , I created a piano because Josslyn wants to learn how to play the piano so we thought it would be fun to do. We also made bubble pop. When you push the playdoh it pops the bubbles on the screen. 

• During this process, I learned how to use the makey makey. I also learned how to use the aligator clips with the playdoh. Finally I learned that you have to be holding the white clip t make the piano play. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I chose the idea for my project. My project also ties to Global Collaborator. I took all of my step and pictures/ videos and uploaded them to my website.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get the makey controller to work. I was able to do it by looking at videos on websites about the controller. I also got help from a classmate that has used it before.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of projects I did.  The reason why I would change it is because me and my partner were both absent last week so we we only did 2 because we were already behind. I wish we did 3 to 4 projects.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. It ties to Engineering Design because me and my partner used resources and tested different projects to make this piano.

• My project connects to careers in Engineering design. Me and my partner used the makey makey and hooked it up to our computers to make and design our piano. Personally I wouldn't want to do this as a job but it was a fun project.
