7P6- virtual reality

• Using Co spaces, iPad, VR goggles and iMovie , I created a VR chicken city and resort because I like chickens. This is also my favorite project so far.

• During this process, I learned how to code certain things like the doors to open and close. I also learned how to use the ipod with the VR goggles. It was very cool. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I am putting my VR world onto my webiste. Anyone in the world can see my website.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was coming up with the world I wanted to make.  I was able to do it by picking 1o random ideas and trying them until I found the one I liked the most. I also got help with a friend that suggested me ideas.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would add more bulidings to the resort. The reason why I would change it is because I  wanted to add more details. I also would add more chickens to the city. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School because I used Digital Multimedia to create my project. My project connects to careers in VR prototype. There average salary is 131,175.
