Using a printer and a button maker, I created a tutorial video of how to make a button because, for the final project we had to make a video of how to use or make something we did with technology this year. I chose to make a button because in 6th and 7th grade you could not make a button. You could use a tutorial to help yourself if you didn't know to make a video. 

During this process, I learned how to edit a video. In this project I made a video of how to make a button. I had to edit a video to teach other people how to make a button. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because for this project I asked my friend for help to make the button. I mixed up how to make the button with one of the steps. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was having too much time. I was able to do it by asking the teacher if there was anything I could work on. I was able to have a lot of free time to work on other things from other classes. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many buttons I made. The reason why I would change it is because I could show people how easy it is to make a button. People could use this knowledge to teach other people. 

 Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Business Management CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in button maker, because you have to make buttons to communicate with people in this job. People can communicate without talking, with buttons. Buttons are very useful.
