In minecraft i used an agent to build a 10 by 10 house out of wood with a roof. Also I learned how to code the agent to build the house. I wanted to do this because i thought that it would be a challenge and also i thought that this assignment would be fun.

During this project i lend how to get my robot to build a house. It was hard though because at first all that i could do was move the agent but i watched a you tube video and figured out how to make the agent move and place the blocks.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to show knowledge constructor because I needed to know how to build the house and also I needed to make the house and code the agent to make the house

A challenge that I overcame was was getting the agent to build the house because all that I could do was get the agent to move and not build. But i watched a you tube video and found out how to get it done. This was a challenge not only because i couldn't get the agent to build the house but also getting the measurements of the blocks of how tall and wide that i wanted it.

Given a chance to do this again i would make it taller and wider because i would have more time. The reason that I would change this is because right now it just looks like a brown box. And my goal was to build a house not a brown box. Also something that i would do is have the agent build windows which would also make it look less like a box made out of wood.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at the Hastings high school. My project connects to carriers because programming is a is a job that people go to work every day and do.
