• Using Makey Makey, I created a keyboard because I wanted to use something other than keys to type. I wanted this because its really cool to type and do things with playdough. My project is just one keyboard made of play dough with a tin foil key to make it work.

• During this process, I learned how to plug in and use a Makey Makey to use when typing (up, down, left, right, space, and left click) instead of a keyboard. We had a certain key we click and hold while we type.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborter because I shared my project on my website for the world to see.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my keys to actually work when I clpi them up and click on them. I was able to do it by clipping a cord to the bottom ands guarenteeing that I press and hold that while I use the keys.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much time I spent and how many different keyboards I make. The reason why I would change it is because on the second day I couldnt figure it out so I only got to make a play dough keyboard and nothing else.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Custom Joystick Controller Integration for MX Bikes Game because it is a job where these people create controllers and sell them this connects to our projects because we made joysticks and buttons for controlers using playdough. Which is exactly what we did when doing/making things on the Makey Maley.
