Using Adafruit , I created codes on my circuit playground because I wanted some of the things on my list of 10 but created by me. This project was so fun becasue we GOT to code these items on our AdaFruit.
During this process, I learned how to code and create lights, sounds, songs, etc. onto a digital circuit playground. This is a fun process for us because we get to design our own codes and make them come to life. My favoreite part of this project was making a music scale and adding sounds to it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I created my own codes and posted them to the world on my website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was downloading my codes to adafruit. I was able to do it by trial and error and asking the people around. Downloading Codes onto my AdaFruit is a very important part of this project and that is why I decided to put it as my biggest projects.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much music I used. The reason why I would change it is because I wasn't very good at saving the projects that include beats/music. I really only added songs in a few and put a song on my video which sort of takes away the "goodness" of my scales and general music but that is ok.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.

For my project, I used Adafruit to make custom codes on my Circuit Playground. I wanted to create all of the things from my list of 10, but I could only make so much. It was super fun because we got to code and design the items on our Adafruit. It was even more fun because we got to make them on our own, I really enjoyed the project because I got to be creative and learn a lot about coding and how electronics work! The process was, get adafruit app, then make the code you want, then plug in the circuit playground, and download it! (PS: Don't forget to make sure your circuit is reset and green!
