Using a Sphero and an Ipad, I created a code for the Sphero because I wanted to see what its limits were.
During this process, I learned how to drive and make code for the Sphero.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborater because I posted this page on my website for the world to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was my ipad not connecting to the sphero. I was able to do it by using a different sphero.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how late I started on the sphero. The reason why I would change it is because I could've used more time on the sphero.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Robotics Engineering because those jobs work in designing, building, and maintaining robots.
