Using Circuit Playground Express, I created a siren, clap lights, cool lights, and button flipper because hey were all pretty cool, but didn't require using paper and other                materials.

During this process, I learned how to code things to light up in the dark, on loud sounds, and how to use circuit playground express altogether..

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because a lot of my projects were made by my own ideas instead of tutorials.

A challenge I overcame on this project was the codes not working. I was able to do it by redoing them and doublechecking everything would work right.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the projetcs I made. The reason why I would change it is because most of the projects we made had something to do with lights.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in mobile app developing.
