I experimented with Tinkercad.
I did some more experimenting with Tinkercad.
I started my website, did my list of ten and my planning questions, and got my idea of what to make.
I started to make my bookmark.
I continued to make my bookmark.
I (Pretty much) finished my bookmark.
I had to start my design over and make a new one, but I finished it.
I wrote my reflection
I finished up my poject.
Using Tinkercad and a 3D printer, I created a bookmark with a frog on it because I always just fold the page of the book. This project was supposed to solve a problem, and me using absolutely anything I can find as a bookmark, It seemed like a serious enough problem. Also, frogs are cool.
During this process, I learned how to use Tinkercad. I used it last year, but I completely forgot how to, so I learned it again. I also learned how to make a very flat frog.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed my bookmark. I didn't use anyone else's ideas. I came up with the idea and specifically designed it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was that I had to start over one day because my particular design would not stay flat enough. I was able to do it by making a new design. I originally tried really hard to make my original one work, but it worked out anyways, since my new one looked cooler. I changed it from a fish to a frog.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of time I worked on it. The reason why I would change it is because though it turned out good, if I had put in more time, I could have made it even better. I focused too much on my website.
