7P4-Augmented Reality

Using a Mergecube and the cospaces app, I created an augmented reality story about a sheep because it was a pretty simple idea. I like sheep, and I thought that it would be funny. For me Idea, I didn't need to do anything fancy or complicated, that's why I did this idea.

During this process, I learned how to use a Mergecube. I laso learned how to work the cospaces app. I learned some cool features and things you can make the cube do. Most of all, I learned it's not a good idea to miss two school days.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed my Mergecube to look a certain way. I added details. I designed backrounds and differenet sides of the cube.

A challenge I overcame on this project was only having a small amount of time to do this. Mr. Renner was gone for two days, and I was gone for two days. I was able to do it by working on the project as homework. We also were given an extra day to finish the project.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my story. The reason why I would change it is because I can think of a lot more creative ideas. I would've gone back and coded the objects to do things. I would've added comments the people were saying.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in virtual reality developing.
