This is what my gaming story ended up as
This is the day two coding I used for the racing game that I used for the lion
This is the coding I used for the elephant
This is what my racing game ended up as
This is how my maze game ended up looking like
This is what my coding on day three looked like for the maze game
This is the coding for day four of the maze game
this is the coding I used for the platform game it is also the coding I made on day 5
this is my finished platform game
this is the coding i used for the princess
this is the coding i used for the frog (the frog is the chaser)
this is what my escape game ended up as
Using CS first game design, I created these 5 games. I created these games because I thought that it was cool to create your own games with this coding. I also created these games because I liked the designs and my characters I chose for them. Another reason I created these games is because they are really fun games to play and they are kind of easy to make. It was a lot of fun creating all 5 of these games.
During this process I learned how to code with cs first. I also learned how to create games using cs first. Another thing I learned how to do is I learned how to customize the characters. One other thing I learned is how to add sound and different sounds in my coding with CS first.
A challenge I overcame with this project is coding everything to be the way I wanted it to be like. Another challenge I over came with this project is making the codes smooth and run smoothly. One other challenge was making the sprites go in the direction I wanted them to especially with the mouse pointer when I had the sprites follow the mouse pointer. It was hard to have them go the way I wanted but eventually I got it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties computational thinker. It ties to this class standard because I collected the information and data to help solve my problems with my projects and sprites.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to computer programming because I used codes to make the sprites do a certain thing. My projects connect to careers in video game programming because I created a game by programming it. It could also connect to careers in designing video games because I also designed these video games.
