7P9- "Stop Motion"

Using iMotion, I created a stop motion video with clay and cars because I had never made a stop motion video ever and I wanted to try something new. Using iMotion I created a 3 minute video displaying 700 or more pictures in only a couple of seconds. I did a whole 3 minute long video with some clay ,car ,and a piece of paper. 

• During this process, I learned to be fast and move my hand out of the frame in time so the video wouldn't have a random hand in the corner.  I also learned how many pictures are really in a 3 minute video.  Having 704 pictures is only a 1 minute video without the pictures per seconds.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I tried a new technology and worked to a goal.  I used stop-motion which I've never used and worked toward my goal, being a 3 minute long video with more than 700 pictures.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my camera so stay focused during . I was able to do it by zooming in the camera. Another challenge was, I didn't know how to continue the video after I already stopped the video. I was able to do it by starting a new video then adding all the videos in iMovie which was super easy.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my videos. The reason why I would change it is because they really are just boring simple videos. Next time, I would try a hard scene to make it better and harder. I will challenge myself more next time. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Amination Instructor, Art department.
