What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to code a certain code with a new robot.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My codes are different from my peers.
Using different robots, I created a new code to make a different scene, word and, shape because I wanted to try out a new object to create new things. Creating these codes made me overcome a lot of problems.
During this process, I learned how to overcome a challenge when coding my robots. I did not know how to code a letter, so me and my team worked together to make the code. I also learned that coding is hard work and learning how to operate the robots.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I overcoming challenges. Doing this project showed me how difficult coding can be. But working this out with your team, we finished all the codes successfully.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to ride and code the letters in the iRobot. I was able to do it by working with my team and getting some tips from my peers. Also just being a team helped so we would all work together like a team should.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the code in the Dash(throwing the tire) looks. The reason why I would change it is because the tire didnt go as far as i wanted it to. This was my first code so it was a little harder to understand being my first time coding a real robot.
