Daily Log
Day 1-I signed into Tinkercad and worked on picking a project.
Day 2-I decided what I would make and worked on building it.
Day 3-I worked on my design for my project.
Day 4-I worked on adding my design and making it nicer.
Day 5-I finished my design and took pictures.
Day 6-I turned in my project and made sure everything looked right after writing my reflection.
Using Tinkercad, I created a tiny star stamp because at my house we don't have stamps and when I want to write a letter to one of my family members or friends I cant stamp it so I can send it to them.
During this process, I learned you can make a lot of new things using a 3D printer to solve problems around your house or even problems at school like making a coaster to stop white rings from condensation on your wood tables or making a pencil holder to hold your pencils at home or school when you have nothing else to hold them and you can make this all using Tinkercad .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I set a personal goal to stop not having stamps at my house and achieved the goal by using technology to help me make a stamp so that I can send letter to my family.
A challenge I overcame on this project was deciding what problem to solve around my house. I was able to do it by thinking what problem I could solve around my house and deciding if it was the best problem to solve then solving it using Tinkercad to build something that could solve this problem.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of my project. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted it to be bigger but I made it smaller instead of making it bigger.
