I will be working with Janessa and Anna.
What materials will you need for your project?
Tinfoil, cardboard, scissors, hot glue, paint,and markers.
What is your plan to create in this project?
We are planning on building a fridge.
What unique qualities will your project have?
we have never seen anyone do a fridge and it will probably be cold.

Day 1-Wrote our list of 25,then I picked my partner and planned what to create
Day 2-We got a new partner anna then went over Expectations with Mr.Renner then we gathered material we need for the project.
Day 3-Me Janessa and Anna got more supplies and worked on gluing our project.
Day 4-Me and Janessa worked on cutting the door to our fridge and gluing the top on.
Day 5-Me and Janessa worked on cutting the top of our fridge out and gluing it on.
Day 6-Me and Janessa glued the door to the freezer on ,made shelves, and glued handles to the fridge and freezer on.
Day 7-Me and Janessa painted the sides of the fridge and the door of the fridge and the freezer.
Day 8-Me and Janessa painted the rest of the fridge and put tin foil inside of the fridge and freezer.
Day 9-Me and Janessa glued tin foil into the fridge then took pictures of the fridge.

Using cardboard that Mr.Renner and other materials me and Janessa provided, I created a fridge because it was very unique and it was something I had never really seen a lot of people do before .
During this process, I learned that you should listen to the people you are working with even if you don't want to because it helps a lot while trying to make a cardboard creation.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because you had to communicate with your partner when deciding what to make and how to build it while still expressing yourself and being creative and using different tools, styles ,and platforms.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to work better with my partners. I was able to do it by listening to what they had to say and asking them what ideas they had to make the project better.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big the fridge was and what details it had. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to make it bigger and add more details but we knew we didn't have enough time to finish the project if we made it bigger with more details.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering.
