Reflection
Using a piece of carpet, play-doh, and a iPad, I created a stop- motion baseball game. I made this because I have always liked baseball and I thought that it would be fun. Another reason I did this was because I saw a ping pong ball and I thought that it would be cool to make that be the baseball.
During this process, I learned making a baseball game was one of the hardest ideas. I think this because first we had to make the entire field, also we had to attach the ball to a string which hurt are arms to hold up for a long period of time. The last thing that was hard was the legos would not stay up so we had to stick them in play-doh.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I went into this project not knowing how to do stop-motion videos. Also, I was not really even that good at taking photos, now I am much better at taking photos. Anotherthing a did was a didn't know how to delete photos but a looked up how to and was able to do it after.
A challenge I overcame on this project was standing up the characters to run the bases. I was able to do it by slightly sticking their feet into play-doh and so they could stand up. Also sometimes they would still fall down so I just made it funny and make it look like they were sliding.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change to not have the foul poles be made out of play-doh. The reason why I would change it is because _they would sometimes fall down mid photo. But were able to fix it by simply relating that photo that it would fall into.
