Using Tinkercad, I created as I call it the 'book holder" because I wanted to make something to hold my book open wider and not have my finger slip and not have to hold my book open with both hands if your lazy like me.
During this process, I learned how to made something useful and also learned how to use Tinkercad which was something Iv'e never used before so it was pretty cool using it for the first time and making something useful.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because all of my work is being spreaded across the world. It also ties to Digital citizen because nothing i made was disrespectful or would disturbed anyone.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make a 3D project and having to make it solve a problem. I was able to do it by thinking of something the I do kind of a lot and that could be useful and sense I read a lot in English and I thought if someone wanted to hold there book open with just holding there book open with one hand then maybe I could make something to keep my book wide open while I read.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the whole where your thumb is suppose to go bigger. The reason why I would change it is because it is kind of a small whole and my thumb doesn't really fit well and also hurts my thumb a little when I try to use it.
