Daily Log:
Day 1. Started to make story ideas and choose which one I wanted to be my story.
Day 2. Started to do my planning questions and list of 10 good ideas with m daily log.
Day 3. Started my merge cube story and started to choose what and how I was going to make it.
Day 4. I almost finished my first side and started to learn how to attache them to my cube.
Day 5.Finished my first side and went to my second side.
Day 6. Finished my second side and went to my third side.
Day 7. Almost finished my third side.
Day 8. Finished my third side and went to my fourth and basically finished my fourth side and made my fifth side because it was easier side to do and finished both of them, then also started my reflection.
Day 9. Finished all sides and made sure it was good and then I made my video and voice recording and put it on my website and finished my reflection.
Using the Cospaces website, I created a six side story with my merge cube because I wanted to make a fun and creative story with my merge cube and learn how to create and learn how to do augmented reality.
During this process, I learned how to attach stuff onto the merge cube and make a six side story that I can explain a story on six sides. I learned how to have fun and use my imagination to make this story of how the dinosaurs survive.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I did in fact set goals make learning goals and achieved goals I wanted to make while making my story.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to attach the figures to the merge cube and trying to move my cube with out taking the figures and other stuff off the cube because it wasn't attached to my cube. I was able to do it by getting help from people by me that knew how to do it and people showed me how to attach it and I did the rest on my own as soon as a figured it out and the same with trying to figure out how to turn my merge cube.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my story option. The reason why I would change it is because I kind of feel like my story was a little plane compared to other peoples story and they put a little more effort in there images but it was already a lot of work trying to figure how to attach it to the cube. I didn't want to add to much stuff so the cube would be full so no one could see what my story was really about.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the "Computer Programming" CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in "Augmented Reality" because I could directly with clients to ideate and execute what their AR could look like.
My video and a picture of the process of me making it but kinda for got to take pictures:
