Using micro bit the micro bit website and the snipping tool, I created my name, a sunlight sensor, a thermometer, a number counter, a heart, and a emotion badge because they are fun and fast projects.

• During this process, I learned that you can make a lot of different and interesting things like a thermometer a sunlight sensor a number counter random number generators and plenty more different projects that are very creative and interesting. I also learned how you can add the code to the micro bit you can do this by code what you want to make then in the bottom left click the button next to download and then connect your micro and then it should show up. If you want to make another you just repeat the process and it will show up.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because you had to code your own micro bit and add a code to it that shows something like a smiley face. It also ties to knowledge constructer cause I had no idea how to code on a computer but I learned how to by using the micro bit. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing what to make but I just went and looked at the tutorials for ideas and found a lot of ideas and projects that I could create and work on. I was able to do it by looking at the tutorials and making the project as I watch them and following along while watching them and creating it at the same time I'm watching the videos. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the sunlight sensor I would make it flash better and make it flash more times. The reason why I would change it is because it wouldn't stay on very long and it didn't look very good. It was also hard to record because it only flashed once and it was hard to get it without any help with recording it.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming because I had to code it through the computer. CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in process engineer and computer programmer
