7p2 cardboard project

Using cardboard hot glue cardboard scissors and a pencil , I created a food truck because I thought it was a good idea and a complicated creation. It has many features like the wheels and the billboard with the taco and the price on it.  We made by measuring the dimensions of 4 different sides and making them all the same then we measured the front and back walls and made them fit just right for the creation to look good. After that we cut holes for the bars that we put the wheels on then we hot glued the billboard on.

During this process, I learned that cardboard is an extremely difficult resource to make things with. It can be difficult to shape and make things with cause of the way it is made and how it doesn't bend shape and making creations out of it. its not easy to put together either the hot gluing doesn't work very well because the way the card board texture is. It can be fun to create things with but difficult because as I said its hard to make things with cause you Cant move it bend it around that much.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designers because we had to design and make are own cardboard project from scratch. And we had around 5 different resources to use including hot glue tape cardboard scissors and cardboard scissors. There are lots of different things you can make with it but it can be difficult depending on what it is.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to kept it together that well and not having very good wheels. I was able to do it by using hot glue and pushing it to gather then adding another layer to it so it stops from bending and falling down. We also made it not fall by taking the wall of it and then adding more glue and then putting it back and holding it for around one minute. for the wheels we just decided to make them not move a bunch so they can still move just not very well. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the wheels and make the walls look better. The reason why I would change the walls is because they are not even and look bad and are covered in hot glue and didn't look very good. The reason i would change the wheels are because I could make them move and make it so they weren't different shapes from the other wheels. I would also make the front better because its just a wall and I would make it so it has a curve and looks like a regular car.
