What is your plan to create in this project?

Our plan to create this project is to use our materials to make a story about the Life of Sour Patch kid who PLOT TWIST becomes a cop OFFICER PATCH-RICK.

What unique qualities will your project have?

Its the life of a sour patch kid who becomes a cop which I think is pretty unique.

Daily Log:

• I created my project using iPad, Sour patch Kids, iMotion, the computer, Nerds Gummy Clusters and Legos. I created A video about a Sour Patch Kid who wants to become a cop named Officer Patch-Rick who is judged at first by the other cops but is then accepted after he makes it through all his training because we had to have a positive social decision. This is what I created with my materials

• I learned a lot during this process. One thing I learned was that it is harder to import all of your photos to iMotion than if we had started our project on iMotion. This is one thing I learned during the process of making my stop motion film.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I did't violate copy right while making my video. This is how my project connects to one of the 7 class standards.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting it done because of an unforeseen setback. I was able to do it by putting a few time fillers to get to a good amount of photos. This is one challenge I overcame.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the platform we did it on. The reason why I would change it is because since we were just taking photos we didn't have it on the correct platform so we didn't have all of the 1,080 photos.

• Hastings High school allows a wide range of programs. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. 

• There are many careers that all of our projects connect to. My project connects to careers in Stop Motion Animation because me and my partner created a Stop Motion movie. This is one career my project connects to.
