The Circuit Playground Express website, my website, the computer, and the other version of the  micro bit.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to create a Music Box.

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will be of my own design.

Daily Log:

• I created my project by using The Circuit Playground Express website, my website, the computer, and the other version of the  micro bit. I created a Music Box because I wanted to make something slightly complex but still at my coding ability. This was what I built with my materials.

• During the process of creating my project, I learned how to program in pauses for light that makes sence with my music. This is what I learned during the creation of my project,

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I created my Music Box and shared it with the world. This is why my project ties to Global Collaborator.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my music and lights to make sense together. I was able to do it by making my music first and then putting lighting effects with the pauses. This was a challenge I overcame on this project.

• If I was given a chance to do this again, I would change the synchronization of my lighting effects to my music. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted the music to play while the lights were going but I didn't have the time nor the skill set to figure this out. This is what I would change if I was given a chance to do this project again.

• For the Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. This is the CTE my project connects to.  

• My project connects to careers in software development. My project connects to careers in software development because that deals with programing as did our project. This is a career my project ties with.
