Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I'm on a team with Madison, Sam.

What materials will you need for your project?

Cardboard, hot glue, paper, gliter, paint, and tape.

What is your plan to create in this project?

Our plan is to make a purple apartment complex in the shape of a pineapple.

What unique qualities will your project have?

Well, It will be a purple glittery pineapple penthouse which is pretty unique.

• Through out this project I created my projcet using cardboard, hot glue, paper, gliter, paint, and tape, I created A Purple Pineapple Apartment Complex because I worked in a group with two other people and we were able to each costomized our own floors. I used these materials to create the Purple Pineapple Apartment Complex.

• I learned many things during the process of building my project. One of the things I learned during the process of making my build, I learned that if you fold cardboard just right you can get a cool curve like how I made the leaves on our pineapple. This is what I found out during the building process.

• For the 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I was able to build something and share it with the world. This is why my project ties to Global Collaborator.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the leaves attached to the pineapple. I was able to do it by pretty much trial and error. This is a challenge I was able to overcome.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the simplicity of my floor. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't get to add some stuff that I wanted to. This is what I would change in my project.

• In the Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. This is the CTE program my project connects to.

• My project connects to careers in set design because that deals with using cardboard to make models of the set you want. This is a career my project ties to.
