7P7-stop motion

Using an ipad and legos, I created a stop-motion video because it is fun making videos and open ended.

During this process, I learned making a video plan is easy but planning what to do for what's in between .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator because I needed to brainstorm an idea for the story and lesson, I needed to make it for younger audiences, and having to collaborate with my teammate for a better experience making the project.

A challenge I overcame on this project was working with my teammate. I was able to do it by just letting myself watch and not try to take control.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the quality of the video and the story. The reason why I would change it is because I do not even know what happened in the story any more.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Animation because I am animating a lego figure to move in a film.
