7P2-cardboard challenge

Reflection

• Using cardboard, glue, and pencil led, I created two different projects of a pac-man maze and a multiplayer robot fight because it was required for my class and thought it would be.

• During this process, I learned that it takes a lot of time to build even simpler things like cardboard creations.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative Designer and Computational Thinker because to me it doesn't feel like a computer thing to me and feels more like a thing you brainstorm an idea for to keep on track and improve it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was keeping my attention on my own project and not distracted. I was able to do it by just ignoring the other projects to focus on mine.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how you were able to win the game. The reason why I would change it is because I want to include the audience into the game as well.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in engineering because I had to create the project in a way that involved engineering like quality's (keeping it stable, making it interactive, and trying to keep it interesting).
