Using tin foil , I created A boat because to hold pennies in the water.
During this process, I learned that if the boat is to heavy it wont float as much and sink faster.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I made a boat to solve a problem to hold pennies in water.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make the boat hold a lot of pennies. I was able to do it by having strong walls and thin floor.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the shape of the boat .The reason why I would change it is because it did have lot of space and it was and inch to narrow.

My project connects to the Construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in engineering because I'm solving a problem to hold pennies in water with a boat the size of 1by 3 by 5.
