Empowered Learner
Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving, and demonstrating competency in their learning goals. Articulate and set personal learning goals, that in order to be achieved they must reflect on the learning process in order to improve learning outcomes. Building networks to customize their learning environments so that it supports their learning process the best it can.
Digital Citizen
Students recognize the rights and responsibilities of the opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world. They also know how to act and model in ways that are safe, legal and ethical. They are able to cultivate and manage their digital identity/reputation and are aware of the actions they have in the digital world.
Knowledge Constructor
Students can critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, and to produce creative artifacts that can make learning into meaningful experiences for themselves and others. They can also plan and employ effective research strategies to locate information for other resources for their intellectual or creative pursuits. They can evaluate the accuracy/perspective and credibility of information on the media or other electronic resources.
Innovative Designer
Students can use a variety of technologies within the designing process to identify and solve problems by creating useful or imaginative solutions. They know how to use a deliberated designing process for generating ideas, testing theories and creating innovative artifacts. They can also select and use digital tools to plan and manage a designing process that has designing constraints and some calculated risks.
Computational Thinker
Students can develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems that leverage the power of technological methods to be able to develop and test solutions. They should also be able to formulate problem definitions suited for technology-assisted methods. Can also collect data or identify relevant data sets and use their digital tools to analyze them, and represent the data in various ways to show problem solving and decision-making.
Creative Communicator
Students can communicate clearly to express themselves in a creative learning space for a variety of purposes, and be able to use the digital media to achieve their goals. Can choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives of their creation. They can also create original works, responsibly repurpose or remix their digital resources into new creations.
Global Collaborator
The students can use digital tools to broaden their perspectives and enrich their ability to learn by collaborating with others in effectively working teams. They can also use digital tools to connect with learners to engage them in ways that broaden mutual understanding and learning. Can use collaborative technologies to work with others in a community, to examine the issues and problems from multiple viewpoints.
