8p5-keva planks

Using Keva planks, I created a house and a couch because I wanted to build a house and a couch.

During this process, I learned what Keva planks are and how to use them.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer because I had to use my brain to think about what I wanted to build and then I had to build what I wanted .

A challenge I overcame on this project was building and stacking them together. I was able to do it by carefully placing them on top of the other ones.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how and what I am going to make. The reason why I would change it is because then I would be able to make something different.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Construction Trades in the CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Construction Labor.
