me and my team starting making a boat that ended up only holding around 10 pennies

We revamped the first design and got it to hold 15 pennies

we made a platoon and only got 5 then we remade a boat and got around 67. I didnt take a video.

We made a new design that held only 56.

We made a new boat that got 30 and used that as our final one.
Using tin foil, I created multiple boat designs because we wanted to see how many pennies each boat design could hold. Another reason why I did this was because we wanted to test as many boat designs as we could think of.
During this process, I learned these things. The first thing I learned was how to make a boat out of tinfoil. Another thing I learned was how to find the dimensions needed to create a well-made tinfoil boat.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I was able to mark down how much progress I was making because of the amount of pennies increasing or decreasing.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding out what boat was best. I was able to do it by .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I didn't .get 90 or more pennies The reason why I would change it is because the top had more than 90 and I wanted to come in at least second.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Fiberglass laminators because they are involved in the manufacturing of boats.
