Day 1

We started with a box and put two flaps in the box that in the future will be how the strap connects. We did think that the box was rather heavy so we thought we should cut off the sides but leaving the flaps so there is still a darkness to the box.

Day 2

We have made a head strap that feels better than the quest stock strap along with a top strap to prevent the headset from falling. We also cut the sides off to reduce weight and add light to the stage.

Day 3

We added our first controller with the tracking rings on the back for proper controller tracking.

Day 4

We added the game super hot a game made by SUPERHOT Team.

Day 5

We made a second controller and made a game cartage slot for the games we made.

Day 6

We finished making our video with some volunteers.

During this process, I learned how to use cardboard to create things we think we.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I was designing something and I was being innovative .
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the headset big enough so I could wear it. I was able to do it by making the head strap bigger.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of games we could put in. The reason why I would change it is because we only made 2 games.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering.
