Using , the app called, Sphero Edu, I coded and drove a robot, because robots interest me. During this process, I learned how to aim the robot.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I used different tools and codes to program my robot.
A challenge I overcame on this project was controlling the robot and driving it strait. I was able to do it by having a day or two to drive the robot and get a feel for driving it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the pattern I drove it. The reason why I would change it is because I would want to add music and zig-zags.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in designing video games.
