Reflection:
Using a micro bit, an iPad, and a computer, I created a code that makes a interesting checker board pattern, and a code that makes harts appear and disappear on the screen . I made one last code that is a fun rock paper scissors shoot game. I made these codes because I found them interesting and fun to make.
During this process, I learned how to make things flash on the screen.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I used digital tools to solve problems I had with my codes.
A challenge I overcame on this project was that I couldn't get the heart appear and disappear. I was able to do it by making a blank LED screen and then making ne with my pattern and just doing that a few times.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change The patterns that I made. The reason why I would change it is because I would make something more challenging. I would also change the number of projects I did. I would change this because I would make more projects.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Software Engineering because you have to code the LED lights to do what you want them to do.
