I started a star wars themed coding project.

I continued to work on my star wars coding project

Reflection:

Using Code.org I created a Star Wars code because I like Star Wars and thought it would be fun.
During this process, I learned how to make this specific type of code.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used digital tools to help solve the issues I was having.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to change from scene to scene. I was able to do it by looking at all the coding blocks and figuring out what they would do.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the type of code I made. The reason why I would change it is because I would make a different themed code or a different type of code.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in programming because you have to program the code for it to do what you want it to.
